This necklace is a collection of charms, each with their own very special meaning.
My dad gave my mom this little floating heart when they were in high school...
One day they had a fight and my dad threw the charm onto the grass.
They searched and searched for it after they had made up, but couldn't find it anywhere.
A few days later, my mom was walking home from school,
and she spotted it laying on the ground, untouched.
This charm was given to me by my dad when I was really little...
It serves as a sweet reminder of my childhood.
The last charm is a half of a pendant...
A gift from my mother to my father many years ago.
She kept one piece, and my dad kept the other.
It reads
"The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another."
The chain was a Christmas present from my mama per my request.
A sturdy box chain to keep all of the little charms together,
and close to my heart.
